Yes, I will freely confess and will not deny that I did dissect a frog and pinned the various contents of its body all over the board, which was the culminating achievement of high school biology lab. Even so, I do not quite so how that justifies what you did to me. I am just saying.

Yes, I do not remember myself articulating any accusation of racism against anyone, but if you feel such implied in your own projected thoughts, I cannot speak for you, perhaps you are accusing yourself.

Yes, I also thought I heard that theory about us being the Gibeonites who sold themselves into eternal slavery, or else the Amalekites, but that would seem ridiculous.

Yes, I remember when I was working at a small town paper in Central Florida, the reporter for the big regional daily was Ms. Jacobs, who I only talked to maybe once or twice. Years later I was hearing online from Mr. Jacobs, who was telling me about his daughter and sort of making me feel bad for competing against her, even though it had been several years since I had worked opposite her for a short time and only doing my job or at least trying to do my job. I wouldn't be doing my job if I were only photocopying whatever she does. Then I looked at her name online and saw that she now had a great job working for the power company. Wow, that's great. Obviously I cannot compete with that, wouldn't think of trying. You could always call Rachel in Boston, but she works in  healthcare so she might not be interested.

Yes, I cannot say that I have not seen that dreary sordid movie known "Showboat," but I would not describe myself as a fan of it. Movies often try to place a sugary sweet musical veneer over a rather disgusting part of history actually, of which Louisiana would be ashamed if they had any brains in their empty heads, but whatever.  I congratulate myself on having had the savvy to avoid horrid Louisiana.

Yes, it may seem ineviitable when two or more newspapers are covering the same city, that there may be some rivalries appearing between the various reporters. Even so, whatever. That does mean that the other reporter would be invited to my life to tear my career to pieces because perhaps I won a point, who knows, I do not remember anything now, and not that you would ever guess that from all of this commotion, but she meant nothing to me personally, I do not relish the prospect of dialoguing with hostiles, not that I did not learn some interesting pointers from various persons along the way, for which I do not want to seem ungrateful. Needless to say.

Yes, I am trying to remember what was the name of that intern they sent here from Louisiana to be a volunteer worker for a missions organization, and then did nothing but whine and complain about how she should be entitled to be paid a salary, even though she came as a volunteer paying her own way and should have known that those missions groups aren't going to pay much when they can get volunteers to do the job for free, so if are looking to get rich, missions groups are not the way to go. There were also some staged insult of myself, which, whatever, I am somewhat relieved that she moved away so that I do not have to hear about that anymore.
