Which Reminds Me

Yes, there are so many holes in that story you could probably drive a truck through that. But before trying to talk to those people, wouldn't it be better to be able to read the confessions written during his two-week prison stay? That might at least give us a clue as to what questions to even start asking. I just have no idea how that happened. But who knows where that landed? Perhaps it went up in smoke in Cousin Daniel's California house ablaze and now it already too late to rewrite that story. I just have no idea. And I only heard about the Confessions from reading the diaries. If it weren't for the diaries, I would just look so ridiculous running around talking about things that I know nothing of, with no documents to prove anything.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, my best friend at age 12 was Debbie Lange, whereas Webster's ex-wife was Debra McLain. Oh, a mere coincidence not worth mentioning, no doubt. Especially if you cannot spell.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember, when I was 12 years old I had a best friend and her name was Debbie. You probably noticed her picture in my photo album when you or your spy-maid was rummaging through my personal belongings while I was gone to school or something like that. Yes, so that was Debbie, not to be confused with a few other Debbies. Yes, that was sort of weird hearing so much online stuff from Debbie. Where was she when I needed a friend? I seem to have forgotten some people.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I do think that the dictionary represents the highest level of human wisdom on matters of word definitions currently available to mankind. Maybe after death I will not need this physical artifact of words printed on paper, maybe later I will advance to other levels of knowledge beyond what is available in the dictionary, but for now the dictionary represents the best possible option for diffusing the best available knowledge for the use of everyone. I cannot speak for those demonic creatures who disdain the use of dictionaries. I know my physical limitations of human existence and know that I should be grateful for the existence of dictionaries. Even if I do not use the dictionary every day, it is there when I need it.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember many years ago, maybe 2001 or thereabouts, attending a Bible study at Perino's house for three months, and they used a Beth Moore study book with a blue cover if I remember rightly, and it was led by one of Perino's Blackie who I have since forgotten and no longer care to be reminded of. The problem with these dull boring people is that make us feel guilty for not feeling sorry for their miserable lives, and so then we feel ourselves compelled to patiently sit through all this tedious stuff, and then later we cannot get rid of them. Suddenly I find them sneaking around behind my back trying to control everything and make my life a reflection of their dreary Perino mediocrities. Go home already and stop expecting too much from me.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I am somehow reminded, by a trailer, of that job interview that I once had at that newsletter place over on Gateway Drive. From the start, it was apparent that they did not like me, so, OK, fine, you win some lose some. How dare I attempt to represent myself  and my jumbled life in a resume. How dare I attempt to put my best foot forward. How dare I seek to improve my lot in life. Ok, fine. So the broomstick biddies were not going to approve of me, no matter what. Ok, fine, better luck next time, hopefully.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I suppose that you will want me to say something about Joann, and the online mail I was receiving from their ex-wife Debbie. Sounded like a horrible mess, the way I heard it online. Why go to all that trouble just to pull a token Webster's dictionary away from the mother of his children? It just wasn't that important. Who cares? We have made too much progress in Western Civilization (an A class for me) now to pretend that being male is the only thing required to write a dictionary. No one is disputing the fact of male authority. After all, Adam's first job in the Bible was to name the animals. That was Adam's job, not so much Eve's job. Right. But nowadays, more than a mere male is required to write a dictionary or to provide a truly authoritative definition. It is not enough to be born in Spain. You might pull birth gender rank and fool a few persons for a short time, but then it just gets tedious having to lvie that way. And anyway, ChatGPT is now telling me that for most professional lexicographers, the minimum qualification is a bachelor's degree in English, Spanish, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Classics, or a closely related field. Competitive applicants often have: Master's degree in Linguistics, Lexicography or Applied Linguistics and also a PhD (especially for historical or scholarly dictionaries), For Spanish lexicography, degrees in Hispanic Linguistics, Philology, Spanish Language, or Romance Languages are especially valued. In this case, I might prefer to go with the dictionary and/or ChatGPT, thanks anyway.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, so you crazy people thought that you could drop off your cigarette in my toilet, and that no one would ever notice that I don't smoke. If I say anything, I will just find more of yoru spit-in-my-eye tricks, so I should just not say anything more about that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, Cannery Row is definitely a tourist trap. I try to never go there. The canneries are mostly gone anyway, and it is all souvenir shops and that sort of glitzy places to spend money.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, every once in a while my mother reminds me that when I was a small child, maybe a toddler, my mother was working a job, and so she had a babysitter for me, who was Mrs. Robinette. Her son Doctor Phil is now a professor of sociology at the college, but I have no memory whatsoever of him or them. My mind just goes blank at the thought of them. I have no memories of that era of my young life to share. I was too young.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, that was sort of awkward, the way she got all emotional and flustered, embellishing her speech by making some uncomfortable point. It was not for us to say whether her husband she be required to do the laundry whenever they... Yes, I cannot even repeat that. Let her explain what she meant by that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, that was nice of them to offer me a job at Ed Cole's organizaiton, Meximized Manhood, but I said no. I when there for an interview with his daughter's husband, a lawyer, and that was interesting, but anyway  it seem as if things could get complicated, so I said no. That never happened. And I have already explained this same point several times over again so how many times more before the truth is heard?

Which Reminds Me

Yes, we are not unaware of your favored principle of Free-Dumb, even if maybe we may or may not want to say whether that is true or not. That might work in some situations, but then again there might be other reasons or principles to consider. I am saying. We may or may not care about being liked by the mind-numbed promoters of Free-Dumb. The Bible says to be innocent as doves and also wise as serpents. So I don't know whether or not your idea of Free-Dumb fits with mine.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, and then there is the question of why should there be a national joke about vices? It is not that funny to me. And also, it gives the impression of winking at sin, of making light or game of things that are really quite serious, especially when overdone and addictive to the users. So where do I go to opt out of this rat maze?

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember during high school going to the United States Embassy to file an application for my Social Security card. Many years later, working in California I learned that the first three digits are code for a certain region for administrative purposes of the embassy, because there was a Mexican guy working there who had the same code, as was noticed by the people who do that, but what passport and other paperwork he had I cannot remember. He got his somewhere in southern Mexico, I forget which city he said. Ha ha ha! And it would seem sort of rude of me to ask more than I would really want to know. A card was a card that I needed to use for applying to colleges. Nothing illegal about that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, it is difficult for me to understand why she wanted to use the label of "Courtesan" to designate herself. I heard her saying that but I was not sure where that came from or what that was intended to signify. Huh? I probably should not be repeating crazy stuff that I hear, but then again why would I not think that there was something sort of weird about that. After all, I was not really that stupid.

Saturday, July 11, 2026

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I tend to think of Bruce Bell as a sniveling namby-pamby uninteresting wishy-washy wimp not worth mentioning. What a stupid thing for him to say about that. What a worthless idiot are these riff-raff Bells. Nobody wants to kiss his pukey face.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I cannot imagine there being anything that I would need to discuss with the Bells. They were living in an alternate universe. Oh, sorry about that. Too dangerous to talk about that what with all of these bullets ricocheting all over the place.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, which brings up another question, why all of this stormy obsessive discussion of the Janet Cook story, Cook being the journalist whose career ended infamously after she invented fictional characters to make her point. Yes, I remember reading an article about that back around the time that happened, maybe in Time magazine. So, OK, whatever. I vaguely remember at Evangel rooming for 2-3 months with Jan Green, but the Cooks were unknown to me. I remember reading many articles in Time magazine, about so many things. But OK, fine, if you insist, we can talk about the Cooks, although I do not really remember them anyway. I seem to have forgotten some people who were not all that interesting in the first place.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, why would you be bothering me about your Michigan connection to Mr. Sokobin's daughter. For one thing, we are not related to Sokobin, notwithstanding the fact that he was an important signer of passport applications. Also, how is that you do not know that Kathy from the CIA is your handler and she will ship your head directly to those government people who need to know about your frivolous complaints of whatever nature. Thus, I see no reason for you to bother me about nothing much.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I do think that I would prefer the disinterested regulations of the federal government supervising this matter of land management, rather than to get stuck in some muddy wrestling pit having to duke it out with some horrbly wretched evil witch. Needless to say. Obviously.

Yes, I did happen to notice the idiotic rantings of that real estate agent named Donna. If this were a Spanish book, the word "real" would translate as "royal," but given that Donna is only a self-interested business person doing her own thing, I do not see where her opinions matters in the slightest. If I needed a real estate agent, her name would probably not be on my list. My family would already have their own professional contacts to recommend in that field, probably not Donna.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, weird that you would send your little puppet Pam to inform me of some formal charges lodged against your own children, by whoever, of which I was not yet aware, but whatever, Yes, so I was warned not to talk about that in future, so after that I had even more reasons to never remember. So many people, so little time. Anything I say would only aggravate the problem apparently, and anyway I admit that I don't really care. Weird that you would have all these people from Michigan on your staff. And wasn't Michigan the home state of Samuel Sokobin's daughter, all dead now.  So who cares about that? Nice of you to sign my passport application. Beyond that, i do not see any further connection between us and them. Yes, have a nice life. Goodbye!

Which Rerminds Me

Yes, that was so rude of Carmen to try to throw her miserable life at me. Ulises was her boyfriend, not my problem. While she is ascending to U.S. citizenship, I was expected to go live in Caribbean misery that she left behind. And also there was that lecture about the extreme legalism of the Mayan culture, not really for white people. So that was her idea of an exchange program, not really mine.  My feeling would be to rebuke them for trying to put a Caribbean hex on me, and intruding upon my personal life, among other things, but then again they are church people so what do I know.  I am not allowed to say what I really think about that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, whatever happened to Vickie Canfield from high school? She belonged to the Open Bible church, and I do agree that keeping the Bible open is probably more important than some of this other bird cage lining, but anyway, my job may on occasion involve other writings than the Bible. But where would her head have landed in all that mess?

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember that during the one year I worked at Hermano Pablo's, our co-worker Mark was often in a rage about various things going on there. He thought the headlines and writing in the fundraising newsletters were overly sensationalized. I did not want to say whether or not I would agree with him. Did I not also hear that the newsletters are written by a professional fundraising specialist who is trained specifically to produce this type of fundraising materials? So who am I to say what they should put in their newsletters? But Mark prefers to vent his rage upon the newsletter, at least for now. And these people are always so celver about flipping the script later, as experience has shown, so perhaps I should not add my two cents to that one-sided conversation.

And then later I heard that they fired Mark, after learning that he had all the phones rigged to his phone, so that he could eavesdrop on every phone conversation in the building. Come to think of it, I remember that he always seemed to know everything that was happening there.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember that back at the beginning of this thing, 12-15 years ago, they were wanting information about China because they were saying they wanted to help connect China Christians to the Catholic church in Rome, and also to honor those who would assist in that process. Well, good luck with that, but there is not very much that we can say. There are a few things that are a matter of public record, such as ship travel registers and consular documents, and beyond that time is fast sending those events deeper into the past, to be later interpreted by historians perhaps, but probably that would not be us. . We might not live long enough to see the move, if there ever would be one.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, it is true that I did have a sort of part-time job during my last couple of years of high school. I translated letters for the child care program that was run by the school system that was founded by the Bueno family. So that was nice. We would go occasionally to the secretary there, who would give us a packet of letters to translate. Those were letters of students writing to their U.S. sponsors who presumably could not read Spanish. Those were cute letters, we would return those to the secretary with a translation attached. They paid us I forget how many cents per letter. So that job ended when we left the country, nothing more to say about that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, sometimes I think that I hear those wretched evil sports dogs rolling around in the lower compartments of hell, but my hearing is not that good. You were not invited to my life, you barged in uninvited as any rude and boorish person could or would. You were nothing. We would put you in jail, but anyway, we were not the police.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I am definitely not applying for any job in the area of fundraising for nonprofit organizations, not that there are not so many good causes that could benefit from added funding. So many diseases in need of a cure, so many poor people in need of assistance, etc. etc. But definitely I am not gifted in the area of fundraising, so no reason to belabor that point. For what do I need the idiots of NYC screaming at me about fundraising? I already am not planning to go there anyway.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, nobody is asking for your garbage sports money. I would rather die than have to associate with stupid sports people.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, when finding all of these nasty people screeching at me about how they do not give me, I am convinced and persuaded that the job of fundraising is not for me. No way am I ever going to ever contemplate the thought of a career in fundraising. Forget about that. Other people have a knack for fundraising, but definitely not me.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember that while I was working in Boca Raton, for a newspaper there, I had the occasion of interviewing Wanda at a time when she was a candidate for City Council office. Each candidate was interviewed was given the opportunity to tell their story and explain what they hoped to accomplish if elected. I am glad to see that you learned how to read for yourself so I will not need to regurgitate whatever was said in the article. Wanda's campaign was successful. She was elected to City Council. Beyond what was published, I do not remember anything more about her. I actually do not have very much opinion about these people, I only did my job and nothing more.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, easy for you to pay high taxes when you have millions in the bank. Easy for you to say. Don't when I would ever readh that tax tier when still working on my degree in underwater basketweaving.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I am not sure what you mean by "those people." Perhaps you are referring to that back-stabbing traitoress who left us and ran off to Oklahoma to join the Jehovah's Witness cult. So? Coincidentally, our high school classmate Libby was known to belong to the Jehovah's Witness cult, although now she is living in Connecticut pretending to be a Puerto Rican Catholic. Ha ha ha! And why should I be required to pay for the crimes of cultic whacko Libby? She did not have to sit up there in New England pretending to be in charge of the unvierse, but under there circumstances, So did they turn Jewish or do they belong to that cult? Sometimes that is not so clear.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I am not looking to pick an argument with Jewish people, wanting to protect my own safety among other reasons, but also my original instructions included something about how we will need to let Ron-It go. She lives in Israel now, which is actually a separate country from the United States, and why do I need to answer questions when actually I am not that interested in going there. Maybe I would go there on a vacation tour of the highlights of the Holy Land, preferably with a guide who knows what they are talking about, but beyond that, we could not really talk in high school, so why start now.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I too thought that I would just work work work long into my old age, but somehow I find Problematical interference on many levels. I would like to just evacuate the planet and not leave a footprint or trace behind, not make myself the issue, yet somehow I cannot avoid getting too much attention focused on me. I did not really ask for that, but the walls are in a ruinous state.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, how weird, maybe if I look around FB long enough, maybe it would take me years to bother, but eventually maybe I would run across evidence of the existence of Donald's wretched Hot Mess baby. Well, la di dah! Since when do I connect to those fashionista scum and their dirty money? Yuk! You probably get all of your wrong information from some evil demonic Ron-It. So worthless. Such a huge waste of my time.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I am not sure actually, did I hear that Prada's book deal was canceled? I don't know what I heard, it is not like they would ever drop by just to tell us about that. I just have no idea. I do not actually hang out with those lowlife scum. How would I know? I have to show some responsibility for myself, I cannot control what other people do about that. How are they not embarrassed of being such worthless Latino garbage? Not my problem. But of course I cannot actually say such un-nice things. That would not be the Christian thing to say. But also how many extra miles to I have to walk the extra mile before I quit altogether? I already quit a long time ago, no more nonsense.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, there you are stuck in a hot mess, how dare you bother me about your own garbage hot mess. Not my problem. Yuk! And you have only yourself to blame for having built that hot mess. Not by problem. And then you try so hard to make me feel guilty about the hot mess that you built in the first place. Not my problem. And you are such a worthless hot mess that nobody wants anyway. Not my problem.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I noticed that you are such a lousy Cook, no wonder you cannot  understand a Tasty Stand, you are only a Curt and rude and worthless excuse for I don't know what. Since when do I care about the tasky tasteless riff-raff people of Illinois?

Which Reminds Me

Yes, we had known that the Buenos were originally turned Anglo, and now returning to their Latin roots. What I had not realized was that the Balius family also had roots in Spain. Oh, I did not know that.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember, back in the late 1970s, that there existed some guy named Johnny Rents, who on Sunday evenings often drove us, and also Rachel, home in the church van after youth activities. His late father was the pastor of that church. I lost track of them later so cannot say if Johnny died or what.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I cannot forget that there was a time when I was working for a company that was owned by Democrats who sold the company, and also I left, but maybe I would throw them a few crumbs now and then, I do n't know, depends. So that was interesting. I switched to Independent around that time and am still unattached to parties, too lazy to stop by Ctiy Hall to wrack my brain trying to decide which party. And don't we always say that this is one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all? So who cares which party? Parties may well be a necessary accoutrement of a Democratic form of government, but other priorities are mor important than being with one party or another. My Dad's Aunt Julia was a prominent Republican, as noted in the diaries of great-grandmother, but she is not alive now to explain with that meant.
