Yes, I do hope that you were not expecting me to waste any of my breath or energies further on Laura. She had not enough sense to be embarrassed of her own predicament, preferring to inform me of various details that I had not asked for, and then to lash out in her own defense, as if I had said something about that. The sooner I get myself out of there the better, brush off that worthless Laura dirt and never look back, ever.

Which Reminds Me
Yes, what was the name of that surfer guy at our college? I forget. I only remember that at some time it was somehow learned or remarked that early in the morning, while we were still straggling to maybe get up in time for breakfast, he would have already been to the beach with his "board" and back again in time for class. Makes me tired to even think about that. Why all of this to-do about a "board"? I doubt that I would ever take up surfing at my age.

Which Reminds Me
Yes, I have no desire to serve as worthy opponent to hurricane force winds. You silly reporters are always standing out there in the middle of danger whenever a hurricane is arriving. Ridiculous.
Which Reminds Me
Yes, that was sort of interestingly weird how they were online accusing me of wanting to take advantage of David's banking connections, as if I ever cared about his crazy plot, whoever that was. I vaguely remember hearing that he worked in banking, in the contracts office, but which bank I was not even sure at that time. But anyway, he is so boring, such a prickly pear, do they not learn anythng useful at ORU? I would rather NOT know more about that. And if I were to actually do something about that, would not that just give them another chance to scam me later? Forget about them.

Which Reminds Me
Yes, I vaguely remember that one summer in El Salvador, when we were going to be spending a week at the beach, my mom made us take a quinine pill so that we would be immune to malaria before ever getting there. Thanks Mom! (You did not need a prescription there to get quinine, you just go to the drugstore and buy whatever you need.) And who else would that tidbit of information have come from other than our summer intern Bruce Brock, who was staying at our house for a couple of months. He was from Tucson.
While he was at our house, my mother had picked up the mail and seeing a letter addressed to the care of our family, she opened it and read a hot missive from Bruce's girlfriend, part of which she read to me, being quite shocked. Hopefully they would have made it legal eventually. Personally, I really do not appreciate being reminded of the dull and boring Brockoli brothers. Who cares about those dry cactus plants of boring Arizona? Enough about desert biology. I only learned later from online messages that he had a brother named Steve. Oh, I did not know that. Ok, so, whatever.

Which Reminds Me
Yes, I really do not understand your odd obsession with browsing pictures of Transatlantic cruising, very expensive. There is no really no reason to discuss this topic in a public way with person who don't really count for anything in the real world.
Which Reminds Me
Yes, I vaguely remember that you were quizzing me about my drug usage during high school, and I really must confess that the only drug that I can remember ingesting during high school was called aspirin, an over-the-counter remedy for headaches and that sort of thing. There might have been also one or another cold remedies in our medicinal inventory. What brand of aspirin, you may have asked. And I probably would have answered that I could not remember what brand, whatever my mom found in stock at the store one can easily imagine, whether Bayer or Johnson & Johnson mattered not, myself not being aware of us being the slaves to any demands of brand loyalty to any particular drug company, although generic aspirin not having yet been thought of at the time.
I had never really seen much need for all this yapping about drug company business, but one can easily imagine that there might be drug company reps everywhere trading with farmers and collecting plant specimens and whatever they do. I really only want aspirin when I feel that I need it and the rest of the time I never think about drug companies at all.
