Yes, it was only after reading the diaries of great-grandmother, when she talks about visiting her daughter, my Dad's Aunt, somewhere in North Dakota, that I realized something about that, because before that it had seemed utterly ridiculous to me that these Dakota people had appeared here in Florida to learn more about us and size up the competition. They are not my friends, obviously, but at that time I had no thought of the Dakotas. I cannot imagine where they got all of these exalted expectations. What if I cannot meet their expectations? And why should I even try? Who cares?

Which Reminds Me
Yes, that was nice of Jeff to recommend that book about weekly journalism, which, although I thought was well done, does not quite explain why the high cost of paper makes it completely unfeasible, but also that does not really address the question of Mr. Weeks. Sometimes there is a problem of too many cooks.
Which Reminds Me
Yes, interesting that here I am delivering the lines that you were angling for, and that is all you can say to me, as if I were the source of that dubious information. But I digress.
Which Reminds Me
Yes, I do think that the term "hate" is really much too strong for describing the irritation of a pimple on my nose or whatever that meant. Why should I expend my emotional energies on some irrelevant juvenile attempts at humor?
Which Reminds Me
Yes, somehow it does not seem fair to me that these Italians all get to play the role of tailless cats, while they think that they can step all over my tail. Who said anything about cats? Having now learned that I am allergic to cats, I cannot ever have another cat in my house. Cats are cute in their way but anyway all the cat hair shedding, the litter box, the scratches on the furniture, I will be just fine without them.

Which Reminds Me
Yes, this is somewhat awkward point, why would I apologize for doing a better job than this evil Broomstick Sarah? That would only be my opinion, without any official authority for moral support, so better to keep my mouth shut and just do the job that was mine at the time, not somebody else's job. And besides, how dare I do better than the Superiors? That would be comparing apples and oranges, I might as well not exist as to challenge the superiority of the Superiors. So, yes, what point would there be to discuss this point further? The Superiors have that key locked away forever. Nobody cares to discuss that point, needless to say.
Which Reminds Me
Yes, I vaguely remember reading that book, the Diaries of Anne Frank, which is often recommended as a titular example of humanity extinguished by the Holocaust, who ultimately died in the Holocaust, sadly, although her diaries talk about the devices of living in hiding while trying to avoid such a horrible death, although ultimately discovered and turned in by someone, and beyond that her diaries talk much about her adolescent fantasy life revealing herself to be precociously advanced and awakened in her thought life to other facets of humanity that perhaps I was not ready to discuss or explore at the time that I read the book. So why are you asking about that?
