Yes, this brings up the question of whether that famous backup singer is somehow related to Mary Lasley from college, maybe her brother's name or else her cousin or something? The Lasleys lived in Africa at some time in the past, but what would they know about Chilean politics? Wherever they got their information, they would not have gotten that from me. I never actually discussed that with anyone at college, nor did I have occasion to discuss these matters with Mary. It was blocked out of my mind most of the time. Once in a while I remember things and then I forget.   ,
