Yes, I vaguely remember when we were on the plane returning home from El Salvador, there was a guy in the next seat over who pulled out what could appear as if a laptop computer and was tapping away on that thing. But there are no such things in 1976 so that would be impossible.In the 1970s computers are huge things that fill an entire building, requiring all sorts of bells and whistles to produce maybe a kilobyte of information if you are lucky. So I must have been confused.
