Which Reminds Me

Yes, I do remember that quite a while ago and why don't you remember that we were hearing from the Catholics who were explaining their non-response to the messages of Marco Polo from the emperor of China. They were talking about how Marco Polo was such a bad example of a Christian, not anything that they would want to be associated with, much less build a church upon, so messages coming through Marco Polo were mostly ignored and not much was done to send missionaries to China until the 19th century. Yes, we understand that sometimes there are principalities and powers of the air that limit what Christianity can do. And if some people are refusing to have their understanding improved or refined there is nothing to be done about that. It has to be a voluntary thing.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I have noticed the not very interesting fictional plot that you have outlined, or should I say hole-punched, for me to fill in the details, as if I would know anything more about that. You really do not deserve to have that dignified with any further acknowledgment of your existence.

Which Reminds Me

During the soccer war between El Salvador and Honduras in 1969, we were living in San Salvador and there was a citywide blackout for about one week. At about 6 p.m. the electricity was turned off and stayed off until the next morning. In the evenings of that week we would sit on the terrace listening to the shortwave radio. On the news it was saying that the first lady, the wife of the president of El Salvador had left the country with a suitcase containing all of the money of the country. Then we dialed around on the radio and found a broadcast from Honduras. The news there was saying that the first lady or wife of the president of Honduras had left the country with a suitcase containing all of the money of the country. From which we learn that during wartime both sides of the conflict are sending out the same propaganda messages. But don't involve me in that because w were probably still there on a tourist visa, not having a residential visas until the second term.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I can totally see the your logic in herding all of these annoying Gonzos for future deportation to Honduras. If you cannot behave like a free citizen of the United States, well then, exercise your tyranny elsewhere.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember when I was living in California, talking to Sharon Turner, and she was telling me or us about how she was really bothered because George the pastor had preached a sermon, she said, in which he talked about the times he was going through financial difficulties and did not tithe, and how sometimes that is true for everyone, which message was found very bothersome to Sharon, because shouldn't everyone tithe? There is a principle of the tithe that all pastors are duty-bound to uphold. And then later Sharon's conversation came back around in a very twisted configuration so that pretty much nobody can remember who Sharon Turner ever was or why we ever thought it was safe to talk to her, while George advanced to the post of president of the denomination. So these events do nothing to confirm Sharon Turner's version of the story. Needless to say.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I see that you have assembled quite an elaborate Dutch "Mata Hari" crew. I hope that you were not expecting me to participate. I really do not want to see my name attached to that worthless pile of garbage.

Which Reminds Me

Yes, I have noticed that Blondie is playing what could a very dangerous game although I don't understand enough of that to really say anything. What side of the fence is Blondie really playing? This is not clear. Such muddy waters make it impossible for us to join Blondie at the bottom of the Dutch Sea. I rather look down my nose at these little Dutch milkmaids, because, really, that is better than to let them get under my skin which they are so eager to do. It is so pathetic the tricks they play trying to get under my skin. Ha ha ha!
