Yes, it is true that I never did read that book, "El Sombrero de Tres Picos." I did read something about the book, and it did not sound very appealing. Sometimes Spanish humor can be very low, and it could be laborious to wade through that.
Although it is somewhat helpful to note that this word has several definitions, at this point I cannot switch midstream to another definition than the one I start with. I started with mountain peak and that is what I will have to go with. I cannot now switch to another language such as Portuguese, which does not have the same definitions listings. I have never been to Chile so I cannot speak for why they insist on imposing their street language on clueless persons such as myself.
