Yes, there are so many holes in that story you could probably drive a truck through that. But before trying to talk to those people, wouldn't it be better to be able to read the confessions written during his two-week prison stay? That might at least give us a clue as to what questions to even start asking. I just have no idea how that happened. But who knows where that landed? Perhaps it went up in smoke in Cousin Daniel's California house ablaze and now it already too late to rewrite that story. I just have no idea. And I only heard about the Confessions from reading the diaries. If it weren't for the diaries, I would just look so ridiculous running around talking about things that I know nothing of, with no documents to prove anything.
