Yes, I cannot forget that there was a time when I was working for a company that was owned by Democrats who sold the company, and also I left, but maybe I would throw them a few crumbs now and then, I do n't know, depends. So that was interesting. I switched to Independent around that time and am still unattached to parties, too lazy to stop by Ctiy Hall to wrack my brain trying to decide which party. And don't we always say that this is one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all? So who cares which party? Parties may well be a necessary accoutrement of a Democratic form of government, but other priorities are mor important than being with one party or another. My Dad's Aunt Julia was a prominent Republican, as noted in the diaries of great-grandmother, but she is not alive now to explain with that meant. `
