Yes, once again I am reminded of the time when I won the great Spelling Bee. But I probably should thank you for the little trophy, with my name engraved on it, not yours, not anyone else's, because if you had not misspelled the word "Thanksgiving," I would not have been provided with the golden opportunity of stepping forward to spell the word correctly, because by that time of the finals it was down to the two of us. Yes, I suppose that would have really stung, for a third grade boy such as yourself to be outspelled by a second grade girl. But anyway, to berate my parents for applauding goes beyond the pale, leading us to consider that those people perhaps should be categorized as swamp creatures.

Yes, it may be supposed that you are enjoying the socks that we got Dad for Christmas, although given that I can't keep seven uch a minor secret, it is very difficult for me to imagine how I would ever be entrusted with important matters of national security.

Yes, I vaguely remember, who can forget the time when David had his Appendix removed, they sent back pictures that he had drawn of himself in his hospital bed awhile convalescing from surgery, so David does not have an Appendix. Who knows what other parts are missing, but anyway I do have my Appendix still intact.

Yes, I cannot quite remember now who I voted for, whether Carmen or Patty. So what if the votes all went for Carmen? I do not think that it would be within my power to overturns the election in favor of Patty. Sorry about that.

Yes, what have I to do with the electoral rivalries of Patty vs. Carmen? I am sure that your Italian Kathy, who was a close friend of Patty, knows plenty about that, so why are you bothering me? I don't involve myself in these internal high school matters of no concern to me. Why should I defend either one of them, merely because of some obscure novel about student body elections at Stanford University? I really could not care less about that.

Yes, actually I am NOT running for any elections at this time, so it sort of puzzles the mind to ponder why I should care about being voted against, when actually they are being charged with slander and libel and various other crimes against me, in case they forgot, so I really don't see where they have anything to say about that.

Yes, I vaguely remember that the Stewart family were cattle ranchers in the Paso Robles area of California, which is honest work I suppose, but we have no need of cattle ranchers at our house. We don't have the necessary land for that.
