Yes, I vaguely remember that Jim Lori started attending our church. He was a co-worker of Michelle and I think they had dated. Pam was saying that years later they met Jim and his eventual wife somewhere. Yes, I probably should not repeat what Pam said about that in such a public space. Sometimes these people appear and then they disappear shortly after that without ever really seeming to understand what that was all about. So let's just say that Jim Lori could be easily categorized as one of those clueless ones who disappeared from view. I am not sure whether anything stuck with him, he was so gone already.
And then there was the time that I gave him a ride to church for some reason, and he was expressing to me his cynical idea about how preachers are in it for financial gain or public acclaim or something like that. And I was not sure how to answer that because anyway sometimes people have unrealistic expectations and also sometimes God works even using flawed characters to achieve something that maybe Jim Lori just doesn't get because anyway he was only a bank teller.
The other bank tellers were Vic and Michelle. Didn't they all work at the same bank? I don't remember. You would have to ask them.
