Yes, to debate the fixed or relative value of a priceless work of art, whether or not damaged, would seem a useless and unnecessary event that would seem more trouble than it would be worth unless you are a trained and qualified actuary having something intelligent to say about the matter, and not merely tossing out tidbits of lowlife "humor." And besides, why waste our values on those who would obviously refuse to appreciate anything in any reasonable way due to their own mental blocks of an obvious or not so obvious nature at the moment.
