Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember that when we were living in El Salvador, there were some Americans visiting who thought it funny to joke about Spanish by putting an "O" at the end of an English word, as if that would do the trick of making it sound like Spanish. At the airport as they were leaving at the end of their visit, one of the guys was jokingly celebrating and said that he was going "Home-O." Uh, thud. So my sister who was there at the time and thought that was hysterically funny and was later retelling that story to others including myself who were not there at the time. Apparently this retelling bothered some persons.
