Yes, I remember that in the 1st or 2nd grade, the teacher explained that when I am coloring a picture of myself, I have to use the orange crayon as my skin color, even though that color does not exactly match my skin color, because the white crayon was too white and the black crayon was too dark, and orange was the closest thing that could be used for skin coloring.
