Yes, someone was asking me about those novels by Taylor Caldwell, that I read, borrowed from the Sanchez family, including "Dear and Glorious Physician" a story about Luke, and "Pillar of Iron," a fictionalized life of Cicero. She really does a good job of incorporating much historical information into her stories, even if her theology might seem a bit modernist to us. I don't necessarily want to think about the Bible in a fictionalized way, but historical novels are very popular with the masses.
