Which Reminds Me
Yes, I vaguely remember that during fifth grade at the American School, there was a library where I regularly checked out books to read at home, mostly Nancy Drew mysteries. They had the entire series and I read quite a few of them. I did enjoy reading about Nancy driving around in her snappy roadster and solving mysteries with the help of her two friends. Even so, there is a limit to the potential application of these formulaic fictional scenarios from childhood. The fictions of Nancy Drew cannot define me, only one little straw that could not break the camel's back unless combined with quite a few more tons of pressure. But that might be one of the few things that Alexandra can remember about me, interestingly.
