Yes, I do vaguely remember hearing that Ronit is very proud of belonging to the House of David. However, due to some deals related to the nationhood of Israel, she and her sister, who is also a light shade of red hair, might have to marry into the House of Israel, which seemed to be a depressing thought, not really as special as the House of David, a downgrade to them.
