Yes, well, there was a civil war in the 1860s, although the generations of that conflict are all gone now and the lines are somewhat blurred from what they used to be. I never had strong feelings about that. The McClellans were dissenting Unionists in the Rebel state of Texas. How could that be? How can you protest the Confederate policies when you have to obey the government at the same time? Yes, life gets complicated.
