Which Reminds Me

Yes, why is no one singing the second verse of that hymn?

Waft it on the rolling tide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Tell to sinners far and wide:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
Sing, you islands of the sea;
Echo back, you ocean caves;
Earth shall keep her jubilee:
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!

For some reason everyone seems to be skipping from the first to the third verse, skipping over the second verse, and I really don't know why that is happening, just off the top of my head.

Only thing I could think would be that maybe it does not explain which island.

The lyrics of the song, "Jesus Saves," were written by Priscilla Jane Owens (1829-1907) of Baltimore, Maryland, who wrote a number of hymns and songs for children's services at church.
