Which Reminds Me

Yes, I vaguely remember that my mother said that I had to go to Anne's birthday party, and so there I was with all of these younger-than-me people and I am senior and there was some joking about spiking the punch, did I start that? and then I learned, oh, that there actually had been another party elsewhere where the punch actually was spiked, although not here, not Ann's party, and, yes, in the light of such information, that is not funny, not something to be jokig about as if I could pass for some comedian when my attempted jokes usually do fall flat anyway, so obviously we don't want anyone to think that this party punch was spiked, no, that was done by someone else at some other party.
