Which Reminds Me

Yes, I remember reading, perhaps even during high school, about how many native American Indians have a genetic marker or predisposition that makes them more susceptible than others to alcoholism. Their bodies do not digest the alcohol in the same way as other people do, and so they are very susceptible to alcoholism and various other disorders that may result from communing with the spirits of liquor. Thus, those who ply the Indians with liquor are to blame, for it ruins their lives, a point which is indisputably supported by the scientific evidence.
