Yes, I really should admit that I am one of those clueless persons who cannot see much difference between Ukraine or Russia or all of those other places east of Europe, so don't be asking me about U.S. policy on these matters. I must defer to the U.S. State Department for official dictums on such matters. Needless to say. Obviously. Besides which, it is only quite recently that I learn that I might be less than 5 percent Chechnyan. Woo hoo! Who knew?
