Yes, I vaguely remember reading in great-grandmother's diaries about her big trip back east in about 1960, during which time she visited my Dad's Uncle Ben and his family, who were living in South Carolina at the time. They eventually returned to their home turf of Norther California. I only know what I read in the diaries. My Dad's Uncle Ben was a brother of my grandmother.
