Yes, that was so mean, what we did to that homeless beggar who was standing across the street from Susie's house. I can't quite remember, how did we think of such a mean thing to do?
We were at Susie's house, and the idea came up to put a concoction in a bottle and give it to the shabby hobo who was standing around at the corner, across the street. It must have had a horrible taste, it contained vinegar among other liquids found in Susie's kitchen. We would have been about age 10 or 11 at the time. We also did some weird cake thing, I forget what that was. And then we had the maid carry these horribly disappointing gifts to the ragged hobo across the street, and, whatever. I forget why it seemed funny at the time. Why did we do that?
But of course, beggars really should know better than to hang around on street corners, we cannot give them money because they would spend everything on booze, so for their own good we can only give them some piece of food, maybe a banana or an orange, when they come calling.
