Yes, one cannot but feel pity for the wretched denizens of Dallas, whose entire life resembles a plot from that horrible TV show that I never watched. J.R. was a fictional character of no interest to us in terms of gas and oil matters. What would a clueless TV show know about real life? Nothing, actually.
