It is true that I have, or rather had, an uncle who was called "Doc" Andrews. He was not really a doctor, however. He was a dentist and his name was "Alton Marion," although he died in 1977.
Even so, the surname of Andrews is not rare. There are many Andrews family members all over the world, especially in Scotland. Andrews is a rather common name, actually, so whether my Andrews in-law connections are somehow connected to Roy Chapman Andrews, I really have no idea. My cousins have yet to discuss this point with me so I really cannot explain it for them.
I have enough problems already without the Andrews taking potshots at me. Needless to say.
