Yes, I remember that you were referring to that famous novel by Henry James, "The Turn of the Screw," which features, famously, a strangely obsessed governess who has charge of two very strange little children, Miles and Flora, who commune with ghostly apparitions.
And if I failed to pass the governess test while babysitting my two little cousins, I am not sure that I care very much about that. I would prefer to not be held responsible for whatever they do. Let me be counted absent and then let's see how they burn the house down or whatever. Then we will see more clearly where their heads are at.
