Which Reminds Me

Yes, I remember hearing a story told of the woman who was failed to pass her final examination for her Ph.D. or doctorate program at some university in Central Europe, and leaving the examination room, she bursts into tears, and the narrator sees her and feels so sorry for her. Higher education is sometimes a tough row to hoe for women. Philip Bom, a professor at Regent University, was telling this story to many people. Yes, I can easily imagine several other people probably also remember hearing the same story, but I cannot recall whether he mentioned her name. I only partly remember the story vignette as told but not any details of before and after.
