Yes, I vaguely remember that Dauna was talking about the case of Mary Jo Kopechne, who died at the bottom of a river in a car that had somehow fallen off a bridge late at night, while being driven home by a married man. Dauna seemed to have some knowledge of the actual Kopechne family and how they came to a financial settlement with the Kennedys. They have some points about Mary Jo and her lousy character, as they see it. Even so, however that may be, the public in general tends to think that the character of the murder victim is not the relevant issue in the case.
