Yes, how many times do we have to go through the same explanations over and over again about how we, the descendants of William Brownlow McClellan, are NOT directly related to the Union general, George Brinton McClellan, who was fired by President Lincoln yet was later elected Governor of New Jersey, who comes from a different line of McClellans who came to the United States separately at a different time. Although who knows, if you could track all of these McClellans back a thousand years or more, whether there might not be a connection found back in the old country. We can't definitively say anything more about that.
