Yes, it was interesting to notice, while reading the diaries of great-grandmother, the existence of May Stewart, some type of distant cousin of hers who had migrated from Pennsylvania to California at about the same time (and who married a citrus farmer in California and died in about 1950) which was shortly after the turn of the century, that is, the 20th century. I had never known of the existence of those people, no one ever mentioned them, so how would I know that they ever existed? I had no idea there were so many supposedly related people of whose existence I had no idea and really could not care less. I obviously had no need of those riff-raff in the formation of brilliance, needless to say.
