Which Reminds Me

During the time that I was working at a newspaper in Haines City, my boss Max asked me to write a series of articles, which I agreed to do, although perhaps I could have said no, but it was a job, and said articles were published in a special section, for which I was given some awards, which often do materialize in the form of plaques and certificates that are presented at meetings by persons of authority. So that was nice to get a plaque, although that was really not the reason why I did that. It was my job. I was asked to write the stories. It really wasn't my idea originally to do that. So maybe I do have some plaques stored away in a drawer somewhere. So?
