Which Reminds Me

Yes, I really do like the sound of that book title, "Streams in the Desert," in which the word "streams" denotes the presence of an abundance of water in an otherwise seemingly dry place, a refreshing surprise.. Somehow I do think that the substitution of "Brooks" would sound too much clunkety-clunk and cutesy-puke to merit any serious consideration, but what would the clueless "Brooks" gang know about appropriate translation values?They are an annoying pack of attention-grabbers who think that everything should be about them, and to whom I do not attach myself in any way or make any claim upon.
