Yes, I vaguely remember hearing some joke about the single woman who did not get married, thus going down to "She Old" or She Ol'" which sounds quite a bit like "Sheol," reminiscent of the Biblical patriarchs or 1 Samuel 2:6, but which also might be mistaken for a synonym of "Old Maid." Yes, what a lovely thought, that the single woman who does not get married will be sent down to "Hell"? We could just ignore or overlook that as someone's excessive overreach, and people often do get carried away with these humorous puns and play-on-words, taking that to unwarranted extremes, but if you are going to be taking that so seriously, we will need to return that in kind. Needless to say.
