Yes, there was a divorce in the family, my mother's cousin Beverly having divorced Richard Declined, so probably from the bizarre interference of the nasty Declined family, one can easily imagine that there was probably some very good reason for that, although I really would prefer not to be burdened with the details of what happened between these persons who are very tangentially related to us, there being not much reason to ever think of their existence, if it were not for Henry Strickland, our great-grandfather.
