Yes, when the roll was called in high school classrooms, it was my habit to say "Here," whereas some other persons would say, "Present," although I cannot remember exactly who. I don't know who was keeping track of the "Here's" and the "Present's." I only know that, I don't know, somehow it seemed more normal for me to say "Here," (as in "Here I am, send me"?) and not "Present," whereas some other persons apparently sell themselves cheap. However, that does not make me a Norwegian dishwasher, and yourself the dish.
