Which Reminds Me
I seem to remember that someone was telling me to go to New Orleans to hang out there with Denny Duron, a football coach who was fired from Evangel College for whatever reason, and his wife Candy. Which is ridiculous. I never even met this person and don't really care so much about football that Jim Mazurek (MK-Chile) should be needling me on the subject of football players. Another reason not to go to New Orleans is that I was never that close to to Irene. In high school there really were two separate classes of people, the Dummies and the Honors class, and I remember Irene as being probably near the bottom of the Dummies class illiterates, which is probably why I never had any class with her, because there really was a separation for the most part, with economics class being one of the few exceptions to that rule. The Dummies class people are in high school mainly to be socialized, not because they are expecting to learn something by reading books. They just want to chattify and so they have a grudge against persons who are seriously interested in collecting As on their report cards. The Dummies class people have abandoned all hope of getting As on their report cards so they spend a lot of time passing notes or playing hookey because they think that social networking is the only thing that matters. So hopefully that helps to explain the Dummies class rift.
