Yes, how odd to have such a surname as Hornyold, which name I can only imagine could invite some off-color lousy humor from some low-level disgusting creatures of a sophomoric mindset not worth mentioning. Needless to say. But never had such a hyphenation problem. My grandmother was only Strickland, not a Hornyold-Strickland.
