Which Reminds Me

Yes, I do remember Chavelita, the maid who worked for the Bueno family, explaining to us that the Buenos and other earlier missionaries were the pioneers who got things started, whereas those who came later, such as ourselves and the Davenports, were the second wave. Ok, so that is one way of looking at that. I am not sure whether they would need yet another wave now that they have become so independent and running their own show. The way things were back then was very different from what it is now. I suppose they could always use some free labor from the U.S. but at least for myself personally I have other priorities at this time.
