Yes, I too was one of the millions of Americans who watched the Roots TV series way back when it appeared in the 1970s, and I too thought it was an interesting generally pictorial look at the history of black people in America, although given the fictional setting of television one cannot rely too much on the reliability and verifiability of the facts or data transferred in such a dramatic setting. Television influences on an emotional level but, I don't know, until the historic record is reviewed at the Great White Throne of Judgment Day, I tend to think that the jury is still out there compiling the akashic records of on sort or another that would be God's place to review, not really yours.
