Yes, I vaguely remember hearing the story about Carol Hultgren, MK Brazil, whose parents moved to Brazil long before we did. I think she might have even attended high school in Miami and she was well known to be very wild and attended wild parties and who knows what else. When the Stones visited the Hultgrens in Miami, the Stones' son Kent and the Hultgrens' daughter Carol went out for a walk and Carol said something weird to Kent, something very forward and suggestive of sex, and Kent told his parents and then this incident became well known throughout missionary circles but anyway we always knew that Carol Hultgren always was a piece of trash. It is nice that she got saved later but she wasn't saved back then. She was a disastrous mess in Miami. She married Nathan Mintle, MK-Ecuador?, who also was a worthless piece of trash. So the two trashy worthless drug addict MKs got saved and got married and had a family and everything was supposed to be hunky dory for them ever after but, well, we know now that things did not go as planned. Their lives did not exactly become stellar examples for me to follow as we now know that they were later convicted for obtaining drugs without a prescription and had to leave the children in the care of her mother while they spent time in prison. Very sad story. So anyway, no one really remembers Kent and Carol's minor exchange as we all know now that Kent's life also did not go as planned. He married a Catholic and later divorced and who knows what else. His parents never brag about their genius son as previously. He might have a Ph.D. in Spanish literature but higher education is just not enough sometimes. It all depends on what you do with it. Anyway, we have not heard much from them lately.
