The Twisted Meaning of Rock Music Lyrics

I vaguely remember in college someone, probably Cori or else Dolly, telling me that the words in rock music lyrics have other meanings than what might seem to me the plain meaning of the words. Cori/Dolly said that for example often the word "come" has a sexual connotation of some sort, referring to matters with which I am personally not familiar and have no experience of. And if "come" means something else, then what is the meaning of "it" or "they"? One could go crazy trying to figure out that something means nothing. This could get ridiculous. I personally do not appreciate and am constantly annoyed by these constant reminders that there might be other meanings and interpretations to basic words and thus I prefer to ignore as worthless the mindless mutterings of Cori, although I might have passed this item along once or twice. It might be true in some sick singer's mind but I really don't care to learn more deeply about the alternate interpretations of rock music lyrics as proposed by Cori/Dolly. I couldn't care less. I did not go college to sell myself into mindless slavery to those pushy whiners. I would prefer to subscribe to the commonly understood meaning of the words for the most part, with reasonable exceptions of course. I am reasonably intelligent and don't need a Cori and her retinue of mindless losers around to interpret the world for me. I can think for myself. All I need my own space.
